Setpoint privacy policy
Effective — July 12, 2026
Setpoint is made by RJHC Development LLC, Connecticut, USA. This policy covers the Setpoint app. Our website’s policy is at rjhcdevelopment.com/privacy.
What the app collects, and why
No accounts. Setpoint does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts through the app.
Your log. Weigh-ins and measurements you enter are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers — we don’t have servers for this app.
Purchases and subscriptions. Payment is handled by Apple. To unlock what you’ve paid for and restore purchases, we process subscription status through RevenueCat using an anonymous identifier — not your name or Apple Account. We receive transaction records (product, price, dates, region), never your payment details.
Analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the app is used — events like screens viewed and features tapped, tied to an anonymous identifier. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Third-party processors
| Processor | What they do for us | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | Payment processing, App Store delivery | apple.com/legal/privacy |
| RevenueCat | Subscription status and receipts | revenuecat.com/privacy |
| PostHog | Product analytics | posthog.com/privacy |
Retention
Your log lives on your device and is deleted when you delete the app. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide the app and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Analytics events are retained by PostHog for 12 months.
Your choices
Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. To ask about or request deletion of data associated with your anonymous identifier, email us — include the app name.
Changes
We’ll post updates here and revise the effective date.
